The Arkansas Home Visiting Training Institute is being developed as part of the federal Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) expansion grant that was awarded to the State of Arkansas. The primary purpose of this grant is to expand evidence-based home visiting services to parents in Arkansas through the Arkansas Home Visiting Network. As part of this grant the Training Institute is being established to provide supplemental training and professional development for the home visitors and supervisors involved in home visiting services in Arkansas.
Information on upcoming trainings as well as resources for home visitors will be available on our website.
We will be posting home visiting related information on this blog on regular basis. We welcome your feedback, as home visitors, on these blogs.
You can also follow us on Twitter at to receive information on our upcoming trainings and information updates related to home visiting.
