The Arkansas Conference for Home Visitation and Parenting Education is sponsored by the Arkansas Home Visiting Network and the Arkansas Parenting Education Network (APEN).
It is targeted toward home visitors and parenting educators.
The mission of the Annual Arkansas Conference for Parent Educators and Home Visitation is to enhance the skills and knowledge base of home visitors and parent educators as well as to promote networking among individuals and programs involved in providing services to parents and children in Arkansas.
Staff from the following home visitation programs are specifically encouraged to attend, Following Baby Back Home, Healthy Families Arkansas/THRIVE, HIPPY, Nurse Family Partnership and Parents as Teachers. Staff from other programs, whose primary method of service delivery to families with young children (prenatal through five years of age) is through home visiting, are also invited to attend.

Conference Mission
The mission of the Annual Arkansas Conference for Parent Educators is to enhance the skills and knowledge base of parent involvement personnel and parenting educators and to promote networking among individuals and programs involved in parenting education/involvement throughout the State of Arkansas.
Conference Goals
The goals of the conference are (1) to provide a forum for presentations on specific areas of interest to those involved in parenting education, and (2) to showcase parenting education efforts in the State of Arkansas. The Center for Effective Parenting, The Arkansas Department of Education and the Arkansas Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Board are the visionary sponsors of this conference, with collaboration and sponsorship by other organizations/programs through the Arkansas Parenting Education Network.
